Black Hills Bat Company uses only professional grade
Northern White Ash and Rock Hard White Maple for our high
quality custom made and designed bats. Our company's philosophy
and goal is to provide each player with a professional grade bat
that enhances and develops their game. Our wood is hand picked
for the best quality with attention to color, straightness,
grain alignment and moisture content. Our Select Grade Ash and
Maple is kiln-dried between 10% - 12% moisture content prior to
final doweling. There is no color mixing and has a straight
grain throughout. This Select Grade material is the highest
quality in the industry. We believe that using a wood bat is the best developmental hitting tool for players of all ages. We are confident in being able to carve a bat that meets professional requirements while providing you with durability and consistency. Whether you are just starting out, or a veteran of this great game of baseball, we look forward to being a part of your game.
